What to Bring to the 2021 Youth Winter Camping Retreat

Our church will be tent camping on the Perris Valley Church Property 3060 Barrett Ave., Perris CA 92571 (951) 943-5979.


We will be leaving the church parking lot at 10am. PLEASE BE ON TIME.

What to Bring:


Winter Jacket & Winter Clothes

Clothes for 2 days.

Winter Pajamas or warm clothes to sleep in

Bible-other then the one on your phone

**Thick Sleeping Bag & 1 Duffle Bag**

**Camping Air Mattress, Cot or Pad**

Toothpaste & Toothbrush

Towel

Pillow

Pajamas

Tennis Shoes

Team Color Clothing to be worn on Saturday (TBD closer to the date of retreat).

Parents please send your youth with money to buy lunch on the way up and the way back from the retreat, Suggested amount $30

-Suggest that belongings be marked & Identified by adding one’s

name onto property


-When Packing Clothes, please insure that none are profane &/or

provocative


-When packing, please remember that it will be cold, so please pack

appropriately. And also, space in vehicles is limited... so please only

pack for 2 full days!


What NOT to Bring/Do

The allowing ABSOLUTES are cause for immediate removal from the retreat, In extreme cases we may call local law enforcement, along with PARENTS WILL NEED TO PICK UP CHILD:

-NO VULGAR LANGUAGE

-NO FIRE of any KIND

-NO WEAPONS of any KIND

-NO PUBLIC DISPLAY of AFFECTION (NBC RULE)

“NO GUYS in the GIRLS DORM or GIRLS in the GUYS DORM

-NO PRACTICAL JOKES

-NO STEALING

-NO DESTRUCTION of CAMP PROPERTY

- CELL PHONES can ONLY be used during the time to & from the Retreat, and

during FREE TIME, All other times (during teachings, camp time, meal times,

game times, etc, Cell Phones must be given to Retreat Leader to be held or left

in vehicle.


Medication & Food: 

If any child needs a special diet, please let us know before the retreat, so we can make proper arrangements. We will have a few medical supplies for any injuries, that should help stabilize anyone, if any injury occurs, until the Ambulance/Parents can arrive at CC Perris Valley. If any of your Youth have a problem and need medicine, they will need to come with their youth leader to receive any over the counter medication. Please insure that they are not allergic with the medicine.(have a list of any over the counter medicine your youth may be allergic too)
